Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Fire & Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment by implementing fire prevention, safety policies, and emergency preparedness measures. The role involves regular inspections, safety training, and compliance with statutory safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor fire & safety policies at the workplace
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits
• Ensure proper installation and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment
• Organize fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures
• Train employees on fire safety and emergency response
• Ensure compliance with local fire, safety, and environmental regulations
• Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports
• Coordinate with external safety authorities when required

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Fire & Safety or related field
• Valid Fire & Safety certification (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of fire prevention systems and safety standards
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations

Preferred Skills

• NEBOSH / IOSH certification
• Experience in industrial, construction, or facility environments
