Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Home Automation Technician to install, configure, and maintain smart home systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with home automation devices, basic networking, and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless smart living solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure home automation systems (lighting, security, CCTV, access control, smart switches, curtains, HVAC, etc.)
- Program and test automation controllers, sensors, and smart devices
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support
- Coordinate with electricians, interior teams, and clients during installation
- Perform system upgrades, maintenance, and service visits
- Ensure installations meet safety and quality standards
- Train customers on system usage and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain installation reports and service documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Certification in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation
- Knowledge of smart home systems, IoT devices, and low-voltage wiring
- Basic understanding of networking (Wi-Fi, routers, IP configuration)
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation plans
- Willingness to travel within Kochi and nearby areas
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with brands like KNX, Control4, Schneider, Legrand, Zigbee, Z-Wave, etc.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial automation projects
