Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and streamline end-to-end insurance operations. The role involves managing policy issuance, underwriting coordination, claims processing, compliance, and team performance to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused operations in line with IRDAI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily insurance operations including policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims processing
• Coordinate with underwriting, sales, and customer service teams for seamless workflow
• Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines, internal policies, and audit requirements
• Monitor operational KPIs, TATs, and service quality metrics
• Handle escalations related to policy servicing and claims
• Optimize processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience
• Train, guide, and evaluate operations team members
• Maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and operational documentation
• Support business growth initiatives with operational planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in insurance operations (Life / General / Health)
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy administration, and claims lifecycle
• Familiarity with insurance core systems and CRM tools
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in agency, bancassurance, or corporate insurance operations
• Exposure to audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
