Job Description
The Broking Sales Head is responsible for leading the sales strategy and execution for broking services. This role involves managing high-performing sales teams, acquiring new clients, strengthening existing relationships, and ensuring revenue growth in line with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets
Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion initiatives
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
2. Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and manage regional/branch sales teams
Set performance targets (KPIs) and track team productivity
Conduct regular training and performance reviews
3. Business Development
Acquire high-value clients (HNI, institutional, corporate clients)
Build strategic partnerships and alliances
Drive cross-selling of financial products (equities, derivatives, insurance, etc.)
4. Client Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with key clients
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Resolve escalated client issues effectively
5. Revenue & Performance Management
Achieve revenue and profitability targets
Analyze sales data and prepare performance reports
Optimize sales processes for efficiency and scalability
6. Channel & Network Expansion
Expand the franchisee/sub-broker network across Kerala and other regions
Identify and onboard high-potential partners
Ensure productivity and compliance of channel partners
7. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
Maintain ethical sales practices
Experience:
8–15+ years in broking/financial services sales
Proven track record in team handling and revenue generation
Skills:
Strong leadership and people management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Deep understanding of financial markets and broking products
Analytical and strategic thinking
