Job Description
Role: Business Development Manager (BDM)
Responsibility:
Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
Prepare strategy for market growth to be implemented through the whole team
Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals: online and offline.
Researching prospective accounts in target markets
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Meeting customers for business development of all products
Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
Follow up with each prospective customer till final decision. Take all decision to arrange privileges for amicable solutions for customers
Training business development staff and improving the team
Attending conferences, industry events and business meetings
Reach to customer regularly for gifting and hospitable follow up
Assistance in collecting payment from customers
Follow up on customer documentation
Get documents signed for each new Customer (Key Account)
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Proactive market and customer intel to be relevant
Finding and developing new markets and areas to improve sales.
Initiatives to increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Direct communication with Key Accounts for all needs
Other relevant actions with respect to customer satisfaction
Lead and follow up with the BD team to get above activities done
Being aware of festivals, programs, events where products can be displayed
Dealing with distributors and taking good care of them for best results
