Job Description: Logistics Coordinator
* Location: Kakkanad, Kochi (On-site)
* Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
* Driver Allocation & Fleet Dispatch: Efficiently assign daily delivery tasks and dispatches to available drivers based on urgency and load capacity.
* Route Planning: Plan and optimize daily transit routes across Kochi and surrounding regions to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption and travel time.
* Inbound & Outbound Documentation: Systematically handle all paperwork, including goods receipts and inspection logs for inbound supply deliveries, as well as delivery challans, invoices, and packing lists for outbound customer shipments.
* Order Management & Tracking: Monitor shipments continuously from production to final delivery to ensure absolute accuracy and punctuality.
* Vendor & Carrier Liaison: Maintain daily communication with local courier services, transport agencies, and external vendors to negotiate rates and schedule pickups.
* Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and update inventory records systematically to prevent delays in dispatch.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Education: Graduate in any discipline (A degree or diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management is a plus).
* Experience: 0–2 years of experience in logistics, fleet coordination, or dispatch management.
* Skills:
* Proven ability to plan routes logically and manage driver schedules effectively.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking shipments and maintaining inbound/outbound logs.
* Good communication skills in Malayalam and English to coordinate smoothly with drivers, vendors, and the internal team.
* Locality: Candidates residing in or around Kakkanad/Kochi are highly preferred.
