PHE Design Engineer

Job Title: PHE Design Engineer Location: Kakkanad Industry: Engineering / Construction / Building Services Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented PHE (Public Health Engineering) Design Engineer to design and develop efficient plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems for residential and commercial projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, drafting, and coordinating PHE services as per industry standards. Key Responsibilities Design and develop plumbing, water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or relevant software Perform calculations for pipe sizing, water demand, and system capacity Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and regulations Review and revise designs based on project requirements and site conditions Provide technical support during project execution Requirements Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field Experience: 2+ years in PHE design Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design tools Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, drainage systems, and fire fighting systems Good understanding of codes and standards Strong problem-solving and coordination skills Preferred Skills Experience in commercial or residential building projects Knowledge of BIM / Revit is an added advantage Good communication and teamwork skills
