# Sales Officer **Location:** Thiruvankulam, Ernakulam, Kerala **Industry:** Diesel Generators / Power Equipment **Experience:** 2+ Years ## Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented **Sales Officer** to handle sales and business development for diesel generators and power equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and client-handling skills, along with the ability to generate leads, conduct client visits, convert prospects, and achieve sales targets. Experience in diesel generators, electrical equipment, industrial products, or related industries will be an added advantage. ## Key Responsibilities * Generate new leads and identify potential customers. * Visit clients to understand their generator and power requirements. * Promote and explain diesel generator products and related services. * Prepare quotations and follow up with prospective customers. * Convert leads into sales and achieve monthly sales targets. * Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. * Conduct regular client visits and manage field sales activities. * Coordinate with service and technical teams to address customer requirements. * Maintain records of client meetings, follow-ups, leads, and sales activities. * Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development. * Handle customer queries and provide suitable product solutions. * Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential sales opportunities. ## Requirements * Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales or business development. * Experience in diesel generators, electrical equipment, industrial products, or a related industry is preferred. * Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills. * Good lead generation and sales-closing abilities. * Target-oriented and self-motivated approach. * Willingness to travel for client meetings and field sales. * Knowledge of generators or electrical products will be an added advantage.
