Job Description
We are looking for an energetic, result-oriented, and experienced Team Head – Health Insurance to lead our Health Insurance vertical. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership capabilities, a passion for sales, and the ability to build, train, and inspire high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Lead, manage, and mentor Tele Sales and Field Sales teams.
Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales professionals.
Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor team performance and implement strategies to achieve business goals.
Foster a high-performance and positive work culture.
Sales Management
Drive new health insurance business from retail, SME, and corporate segments.
Increase policy renewals, customer retention, and cross-selling opportunities.
Develop sales campaigns and ensure effective execution.
Track daily sales activities and maintain sales MIS.
Training & Development
Conduct induction and regular product training programs.
Coach team members on sales techniques, objection handling, and customer engagement.
Motivate the team through regular performance reviews and recognition programs.
Corporate Engagement
Conduct Health Insurance Awareness Sessions for corporates, institutions, and professional associations.
Deliver presentations on employee health insurance benefits and wellness solutions.
Support marketing initiatives and lead generation campaigns.
Coordinate with insurance companies for product updates and business support.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 4 years of experience in Insurance sales, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
Experience in managing both Tele Sales and Field Sales teams.
Strong knowledge of retail and corporate health insurance products.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate sales teams.
Strong analytical and leadership abilities.
Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and sales reporting.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree (MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred).
