Job Description
The Tutor Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the recruitment, onboarding, and
coordination of tutors. This position ensures that qualified tutors are selected, trained, and
effectively scheduled to meet student needs. Additionally, the Tutor Coordinator gathers
feedback, oversees performance reviews, and facilitates the offboarding process while
maintaining smooth operations and student satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities
Tutor Recruitment:
● Conduct initial screening of tutor applications.
● Evaluate qualifications, experience, and alignment with the organization’s
requirements.
● Schedule and coordinate interviews.
Tutor Onboarding:
● Facilitate platform induction for new tutors.
● Provide necessary training and resources for a smooth onboarding process.
● Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
Tutor Coordination:
● Manage tutor availability and session scheduling.
● Act as a liaison between tutors and session coordinators to address operational
requirements.
Tutor Feedback & Review:
● Regularly collect feedback from students and parents regarding tutors.
● Provide constructive feedback to tutors for continuous improvement.
● Conduct periodic performance reviews.
Tutor Offboarding:
● Manage the offboarding process for tutors, including feedback collection and system
access revocation.
Platform Demo & Tutor Allocation:
● Conduct platform demonstrations for students and allocate appropriate tutors based
on student requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
● Proficiency in CRM systems is advantageous.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
● Previous experience in education, HR, or coordination roles is a plus
